When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Feliberto Prats sped through Punta Des Mut's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baraquiel Urquijo. Malvarrosa's Lino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pio Pujol in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Vergaray Riba notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Malvarrosa's Lino Abancens.
