Frasco Palencia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garrapinillos. Frasco Palencia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Checa Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 19th match minute, Tobaruela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Castulo Santalla to maneuver through the defense. Elvis Urquijo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Checa Gene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Palencia having to interfere. Ugaitz Sabina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gumersindo Teruel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Ugaitz Sabina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumersindo Teruel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Madeo Colillas fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrapinillos's protests and gave Madeo Colillas a yellow card for diving instead. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garrapinillos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Machado Encina was slow to take the kick. During this time Tobaruela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Tobaruela's corner Tito Elguero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gumersindo Teruel quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Checa Gene's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frasco Palencia was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.
The supporters of Garrapinillos booed when Tobaruela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Valdivia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Tobaruela's goalkeeper Frasco Palencia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvis Urquijo. Rafael Losantos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumersindo Teruel having to interfere. Madeo Colillas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Ugaitz Sabina made a precise shot to the right of Gumersindo Teruel. Garrapinillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gumersindo Teruel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugaitz Sabina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Garrapinillos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Garrapinillos may have spent more time on the ball, but Tobaruela were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
