In the 18th match minute, Santa Barbara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Arratia to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, El Albardinal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Morales came free, but Zumar Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breixo Pedriza in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Pepe Pedraza from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Macho managed to make a qualified save. Santa Barbara FC's players were relieved. The supporters of El Albardinal FC booed when Santa Barbara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Orbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Santa Barbara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Arratia to maneuver through the defense. If Breixo Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Pedraza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Morales to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee gave El Albardinal FC a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xelo Belalcaraz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Santa Barbara FC's Gilberto Macho. 1-0. Xelo Belalcaraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Macho. Santa Barbara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santa Barbara FC's Gilberto Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breixo Pedriza in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Pedraza in the 66th minute of play forced Santa Barbara FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santa Barbara FC's Hassan Gonzalvez got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kaiet Silvestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Zumar Abajas made a huge save. If Pepe Pedraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Ismael Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Barbara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breixo Pedriza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Gilberto Macho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Santa Barbara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Albardinal FC.
