In the 4th minute, Guifre Ladra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Martinez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Esperanza SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcarràs the free kick. Osvaldo Martinez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Rodolfo Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Esperanza SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víctor España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Barba in the 17th minute of the match. Nicolás Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víctor España having to interfere. Víctor España showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 28 minutes into the match, Alcarràs's goalkeeper Eloy Abellan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egoitz Alcantara. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Egoitz Alcantara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 35th minute, Rodolfo Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guifre Ladra's late challenge caught a La Esperanza SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guifre Ladra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Guifre Ladra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Rodolfo Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Esperanza SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egoitz Alcantara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eloy Abellan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egoitz Alcantara got free with Eloy Abellan in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Abascal to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolás Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egoitz Alcantara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Abellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Abascal in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, La Esperanza SD's Rodolfo Abascal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Abellan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eloy Abellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egoitz Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alcarràs's Koldo Dagora got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a little luck, La Esperanza SD's Víctor España got control of the ball when Nicolás Barba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koldo Dagora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víctor España having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, La Esperanza SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egoi Sirvent to maneuver through the defense. If Guifre Ladra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
