In the 5th minute Celio Duran collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 6 minutes into the game, Celedonio Herrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meliana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mas Del Jutge FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Meliana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mas Del Jutge FC:s goal. Fructuoso Teruel had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Landolfo Marques's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Meliana's Oliviero Villar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gai Castellano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loreto Quintas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gai Castellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Oliviero Villar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gai Castellano was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Meliana's goal looked a bit too open when Anartz Duran came free, but Fructuoso Teruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
