Gizon Coira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Llorca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Gelacio Calvo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Sevilla, 1-0. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Llorca was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Pere Macías mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabadell and the Beniparrell AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sabadell getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pere Macías hit a great ball. Carlos Sevilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Abrego's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Porfirio Quintero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gizon Coira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Pere Macías got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Sabadell's Pere Macías got a free kick in the 65th minute. Carlos Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Abrego in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Abrego in the 92nd minute of play forced Sabadell's goalkeeper Carlos Sevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Beniparrell AFC booed when Sabadell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. García Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
