Tristan Treviño was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rio Verde FC! Genaro Zafrilla walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bartolomé Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gelacio Calvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Gelacio Calvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mino Treviño. Rio Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gelacio Calvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Aniol Losada made the kick off in the second half. If Toni Abrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Beniparrell AFC's Gelacio Calvo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mino Treviño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mino Treviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelacio Calvo in the 59th minute of the match. Rio Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aniol Losada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gizon Coira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Manel Manrique fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beniparrell AFC's protests and gave Manel Manrique a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Beniparrell AFC! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Rio Verde FC. Nacho Noya stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gizon Coira. 1-2.
