Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Onofre De la Rosa made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, Playa Del Arenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Castro to maneuver through the defense. Atauri Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Manuel Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Juan Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Del Arenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artajona the free kick. After 11 played minutes Playa Del Arenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Castro. Artajona's Atauri Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramone Navarro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manolo Laredo. Artajona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Onofre De la Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Laredo having to interfere. Atauri Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Manuel Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artajona. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Atauri Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artajona's supporters rose to their feet, but Atauri Gimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Mudarra in the 32nd minute of play forced Playa Del Arenal FC's goalkeeper Manuel Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celino Cabezas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manolo Laredo firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Onofre De la Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Playa Del Arenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onofre De la Rosa couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Artajona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celino Cabezas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manolo Laredo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Celino Cabezas sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celino Cabezas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolo Laredo saved Artajona from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celino Cabezas in the 57th minute of play forced Artajona's goalkeeper Manolo Laredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atauri Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilino Fuster kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Onofre De la Rosa got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Manolo Laredo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Manuel Alonso made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Atauri Gimenez sent off a good shot on target. The Artajona supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Artajona would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
