The referee ignored Taraguilla's protests and gave Behe Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. Taraguilla's Troyes Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celino Cabezas in the 20th minute of play. Manuel Alonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amerigo Noya in the 23rd minute. In the 41st minute Onofre De la Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troyes Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Playa Del Arenal FC's Onofre De la Rosa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Troyes Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Troyes Camaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 67th minute Onofre De la Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troyes Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taraguilla were furious when Naike Caminero was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 70 minutes into the game, one of Taraguilla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Playa Del Arenal FC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ascencio Bergada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Taraguilla's Troyes Camaño. 0-4. Anaia Durango charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anaia Durango the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Taraguilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anaia Durango to maneuver through the defense. Celino Cabezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Troyes Camaño made a huge save. Anaia Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taraguilla's goalkeeper Troyes Camaño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Onofre De la Rosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Onofre De la Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Playa Del Arenal FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
