After 3 played minutes Salt FC got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Bergada. Honorio Cuevas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beturian Clos. Salt FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salt FC's Amerigo Bergada got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ereinotz Nafría got free with Beturian Clos in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 10 minutes, Oto Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzabares SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oto Valcarcel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salt FC's zone, Ereinotz Nafría stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beturian Clos came out of the goal and Ereinotz Nafría tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Salt FC's Facundo Saez in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 24th minute Lorenz Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector-Luis Justo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Saez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Justo having to interfere. Hector-Luis Justo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Martín Huguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenz Patiño was the one to do the kick off. Alzabares SAD's Hector-Luis Justo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenz Patiño in the 55th minute of play. Ereinotz Nafría struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Beturian Clos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alzabares SAD. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ereinotz Nafría managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alzabares SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ereinotz Nafría was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Salt FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alzabares SAD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
