Eutropio Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelo De Alarcón FC's zone, Zoilo Pareja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Martinez came out of the goal and Zoilo Pareja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brion Morales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justin De la Rosa having to make a save. Cabo Negrete's Justin De la Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brion Morales in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brion Morales to strike the kick off in the second half. Fran Blazquez struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Placido Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabo Negrete. After 53 minutes, Gonsalvo Cano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozuelo De Alarcón FC and the Cabo Negrete players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pozuelo De Alarcón FC's Gonsalvo Cano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Placido Martinez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eutropio Villanueva went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 85th match minute, Cabo Negrete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fran Blazquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Geremia Gonzáles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoilo Pareja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Placido Martinez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Placido Martinez managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Cabo Negrete's Zoilo Pareja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 97th play minute Zoilo Pareja came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Placido Martinez. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cabo Negrete walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
