After 16 minutes, Macias Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jabalcuz and the El Palo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Macias Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, El Palo's Elvis Valines broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fidencio Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Heriberto Vega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aquiles Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lesardo Arias came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Jabalcuz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lesardo Arias couldn't finish the play. Fidencio Abancens hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Agamenón Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Arias in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Lesardo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jabalcuz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Palo the free kick. Lesardo Arias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Aquiles Blazquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heriberto Vega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Blazquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Lesardo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mohamed Arribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Aquiles Blazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Palo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Blazquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelemen Silvestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Kelemen Silvestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Heriberto Vega made a huge save. Jabalcuz's Mohamed Arribas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jabalcuz getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Javier Sancho hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Mohamed Arribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jabalcuz's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Arribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agamenón Correa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Arribas in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agamenón Correa saved El Palo from getting behind. After 74 played minutes Jabalcuz got a freekick which was hit by Lesardo Arias. In the 75th minute, Rufo España hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Arribas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agamenón Correa saved El Palo from getting behind. In the 77th match minute, El Palo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidencio Abancens to maneuver through the defense.
