In the 3rd minute, Behe Teresa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 4 played minutes Barrio De Los Pavos FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Valdés. Blasco Mala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Francisco Montero in the 7th minute of the match. Juan-Francisco Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasco Mala having to interfere. In the 10th minute Víctor Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Ballesteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romulo Valdés fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrio De Los Pavos FC's protests and gave Romulo Valdés a yellow card for diving instead. Romulo Valdés kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Juan-Francisco Montero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blasco Mala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Víctor Ballesteros got control of the ball when Behe Teresa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víctor Sánchez in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víctor Ballesteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Quin Sánchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blasco Mala. El Zorongo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quin Sánchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Víctor Ballesteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Zorongo FC's Ion Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Víctor Ballesteros got control of the ball when Behe Teresa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Juan-Francisco Montero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blasco Mala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Francisco Montero to make the kick off. Juan-Francisco Montero charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan-Francisco Montero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barrio De Los Pavos FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Juan-Francisco Montero hit a great ball. The corner led El Zorongo FC's Nacho Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Víctor Ballesteros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víctor Sánchez in the 57th minute of play forced Barrio De Los Pavos FC's goalkeeper Víctor Ballesteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Víctor Sánchez came free, but Víctor Ballesteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víctor Ballesteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Romulo Valdés got a free kick in the 68th minute. Juan-Francisco Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blasco Mala having to interfere. Juan-Francisco Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Francisco Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Blasco Mala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Carceles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Romulo Valdés got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Nacho Puig sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barrio De Los Pavos FC's Víctor Ballesteros didn't even have to move. After having played for 92 minutes, Juan-Francisco Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrio De Los Pavos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Francisco Montero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víctor Ballesteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Sánchez in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Behe Teresa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
