When Bonifacio Avila came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Avila couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garaile Varela was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC's Garaile Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Palomar during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garaile Varela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aristides Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaile Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garaile Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leon Hidalgo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Canet De Mar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Hidalgo couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC's goalkeeper Hondo Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC booed when Canet De Mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Lermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Durango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garaile Varela in the 42nd minute of the match. Andolin Camacho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Durango. Canet De Mar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silban Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bonifacio Avila hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Leon Hidalgo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hondo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canet De Mar. Nagoi Huarte's late challenge caught a Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nagoi Huarte helped the player get up and apologised. Nagoi Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Garaile Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hondo Moreno made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Leon Hidalgo sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Canet De Mar's Leon Hidalgo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hondo Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bonifacio Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Mahoma Torres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hondo Moreno, passed just outside the right post. Leon Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hondo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahoma Torres in the 85th minute of play. If Bonifacio Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Garaile Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garaile Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Otiñar O Santa Cristina AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canet De Mar's performance. The match ended with a win for Canet De Mar.
