Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Clos started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramón Casero got free with Arnoldo Canyelles in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Clos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Arnoldo Canyelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Ramón Casero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monzalbarba AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Casero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Canyelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Clos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 15 in the game by Ramón Casero from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Canyelles managed to make a qualified save. Vilabertran FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Echeto in the 17th minute of play forced Monzalbarba AFC's goalkeeper Lleir Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monzalbarba AFC's Quinito Maldonado got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 26 played minutes Vilabertran FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Morientes. Amato Campello struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lleir Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilabertran FC. After a defensive mix-up in Vilabertran FC's zone, Ramón Casero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Canyelles came out of the goal and Ramón Casero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramón Casero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Canyelles having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Amato Campello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Feliberto Echeto in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Amato Campello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lleir Quevedo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Clemente Quintas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Monzalbarba AFC's Lleir Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Monzalbarba AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute of the match, Amato Campello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lleir Quevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Colas Gonzáles hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Baudilio Jaraba came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vilabertran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baudilio Jaraba couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Vilabertran FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cerreri. Narciso Clos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arnoldo Canyelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monzalbarba AFC's Colas Gonzáles got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Amato Campello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lleir Quevedo having to interfere. Amato Campello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Andoni Herrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
