Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amador Zaplana took the kick off in the first half of the match. Málaga AFC's Kaiet Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Marques in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Alella AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gizon Urquijo hit a great ball. Nazario Unzuetas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Tavio Arribas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alella AFC's Tavio Arribas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Alella AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Málaga AFC booed when Alella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Ziguenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavio Arribas having to interfere. Leandro Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tavio Arribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Ziguenza in the 40th minute of play. When Cordera Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Málaga AFC's protests and gave Cordera Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Alella AFC defense, Pablo Ziguenza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tavio Arribas. The Alella AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tavio Arribas should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Amador Zaplana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Alella AFC booed when Málaga AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pericles Aranzubia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Alella AFC's Aimar Cameno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leandro Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kaiet Moreira made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Málaga AFC's goalkeeper Kaiet Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Marques. Tavio Arribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Leandro Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaiet Moreira. Málaga AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cordera Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tavio Arribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazario Unzueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amador Zaplana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Málaga AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
