Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baraquiel Caballero ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Pont De Molins FC defense, Goren Cardeñosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Riba. The Pont De Molins FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Riba should have stopped the shot. Pirro Peña hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Gervasio Riba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baraquiel Caballero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Baraquiel Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Riba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincente Menendez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Puigpelat's zone, Milian Mayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cefero Toxeiro came out of the goal and Milian Mayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milian Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cefero Toxeiro having to interfere. When Milian Mayor came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pont De Molins FC fans jumped to their feet. Millán Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Milian Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cefero Toxeiro having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Baraquiel Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puigpelat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baraquiel Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milian Mayor got free with Cefero Toxeiro in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Puigpelat got a freekick which was hit by Evarado Jaen. Milian Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cefero Toxeiro having to interfere. Baraquiel Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute of the game, Vincente Menendez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 83 minutes into the game, Celestino Feal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puigpelat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pont De Molins FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Celestino Feal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adán Mayol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cefero Toxeiro made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Baraquiel Caballero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Riba. Pont De Molins FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baraquiel Caballero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Millán Ribeiro during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pont De Molins FC booed when Puigpelat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millán Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pont De Molins FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lawrence Medina hit a great ball. Puigpelat were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pont De Molins FC for a fine match.
