The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Yader Campomanes hit a great ball. Peio De Pablo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andresito Ricoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Dino Briso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's Gabriel Cerreri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montxo Adán in the 32nd minute of play. Roldán Soldado might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Cerreri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roldán Soldado ran back to his position shaking his head. Montxo Adán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yader Campomanes struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Peio De Pablo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC. Roldán Soldado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gabriel Cerreri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roldán Soldado made a kick off. If Montxo Adán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Huguet kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Asoa's goal looked a bit too open when Yader Campomanes came free, but Peio De Pablo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Sarracino Verdaguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose-Juan Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Peio De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's Gabriel Cerreri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC from getting a goal against them. Montxo Adáns short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Gabriel Cerreri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 84 minutes of play, Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's Yader Campomanes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peio De Pablo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cordairo Radaban's late challenge caught a Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordairo Radaban helped the player get up and apologised. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
