Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Badalona AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Atalaya AFC the free kick. Columbo Cuervas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Josete Zaplana got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Manolo Carballeira handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alvaro Menendez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Badalona AFC's Sixto Griful broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Petri Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aurre Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Petri Rivas made a precise shot to the right of Aurre Reyes. Nueva Atalaya AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Alvaro Menendez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manolo Carballeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germán Valerón in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurre Reyes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manolo Carballeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beturian Abrego in the 33rd minute of play. Manolo Carballeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josete Zaplana, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Badalona AFC's Petri Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Badalona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ospin Prieto. Badalona AFC's Manolo Carballeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beturian Abrego in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Badalona AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beturian Abrego fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Petri Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Badalona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petri Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manolo Carballeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beturian Abrego, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Manolo Carballeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Beturian Abrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Atalaya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beturian Abrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolo Carballeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
