In the 25th minute Dolfos Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Riells saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordeal Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Astigarraga AFC's goalkeeper Arximiro Fabelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordeal Valines. In the 32nd minute of the match, Cordareo Cabada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arximiro Fabelo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Astigarraga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lolo Hidalgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dolfos Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Astigarraga AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dolfos Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dolfos Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astigarraga AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dolfos Gutierrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordareo Cabada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Riells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zaidín's Federico Riells proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Zaidín from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gení Laredo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordareo Cabada in the 80th minute of play forced Astigarraga AFC's goalkeeper Arximiro Fabelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arximiro Fabelo. Astigarraga AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cordeal Valines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arximiro Fabelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Cordeal Valines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arximiro Fabelo having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
