If Jonas Villanueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omet AFC's Adalberto Radaban got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gartzea Molina came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Omet AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gartzea Molina couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Omet AFC's Gartzea Molina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Valdeflores's Fernando Soldado got a free kick in the 19th minute. Adalberto Radaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Gartzea Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omet AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gartzea Molina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzea Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Valdeflores's goal looked a bit too open when Gartzea Molina came free, but Ismael Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Valdeflores's Jonas Villanueva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leobardo Domingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Omet AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Villanueva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Giro Idiaquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Idiaquez in the 41st minute of play forced Omet AFC's goalkeeper Leobardo Domingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Omet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Giro Idiaquez came free, but Leobardo Domingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giro Idiaquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdeflores were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Omet AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Colas Garcia took the corner. The corner ended in Lucila Aceves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Omet AFC's Leobardo Domingo did a great save. A collision led to Omet AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eusebio Martinez hit a great ball. Lucila Aceves kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot by Gabon Cambero from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Ismael Mata's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ismael Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Radaban in the 69th minute of play. Giro Idiaquez scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leobardo Domingo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adalberto Radaban struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ismael Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Omet AFC. In the 82nd minute, Lluis Gonzáles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colas Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leobardo Domingo. Omet AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Valdeflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucila Aceves to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Gabon Cambero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valdeflores's Ismael Mata didn't even have to move. Ismael Mata made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gartzea Molina sent off a good shot on target. Giro Idiaquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leobardo Domingo having to interfere. Omet AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
