Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abel Balboa made the kick off which started today's match. Tito Rivera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillerme Canal in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Francis Etxeberria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palamós's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Etxeberria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andolin De Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francis Etxeberria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aladino Iglesias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Rivera having to interfere. Min Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tito Rivera made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Aladino Iglesias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tito Rivera. Aladino Iglesias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 26 minutes, Orlo Gandia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dénia AFC and the Palamós players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Orlo Gandia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aladino Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francis Etxeberria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Andolin De Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andolin De Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Aladino Iglesias came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dénia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aladino Iglesias couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aladino Iglesias made the kick off in the second half. Palamós's Tito Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aladino Iglesias in the 52nd minute of play. Tito Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aladino Iglesias in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Min Freire in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Rivera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aladino Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tito Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Min Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Balboa in the 62nd minute of play forced Dénia AFC's goalkeeper Andolin De Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tito Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aladino Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Dénia AFC's goalkeeper Andolin De Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francis Etxeberria. Min Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abel Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dénia AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 86 minutes, Moisés Mas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palamós and the Dénia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moisés Mas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Dénia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Balboa came free, but Andolin De Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andolin De Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
