Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amado Esteban kicked off to start the match. The tension between the San Pedro and the Cancelada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cancelada booed when San Pedro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Cordairo Nadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Zaquiel Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Pedro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaquiel Ortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Llinares charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Llinares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nacho Marcilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Domeka Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cancelada booed when San Pedro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Llinares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Esteban in the 28th minute of play forced San Pedro's goalkeeper Domeka Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaquiel Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufino Vicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Navarro in the 31st minute of play. If Nacho Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute of the match San Pedro got a corner. Cancelada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nel Acha ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 63rd minute of the match Nel Acha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rufino Vicente skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, San Pedro's Iñaki Prieto got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Paz during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roberto Paz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Cancelada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lekumberri Higuera to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see San Pedro's Marcelino Llinares in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rufino Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaquiel Ortega in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Marcelino Llinares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufino Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cancelada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cancelada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
