Blas Unzueta guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Blas Unzueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Avila in the 4th minute of the match. Aristeo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Bilbao FC. Llanos Esperta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blas Unzueta. 0-1. Blas Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macario Uria during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to O Picato AD getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Macario Uria hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Avila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Unzueta was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Aristeo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafo Alacuart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marques Vagrande's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Avila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Unzueta was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Aristeo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristeo Maldonado couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marques Vagrande was the one to do the kick off. Nicolás Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alba Campoamor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Unzueta having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Santos Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilbao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, O Picato AD's Macario Uria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafo Alacuart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alba Campoamor charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alba Campoamor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Bilbao FC got a freekick which was hit by Alba Campoamor. Alba Campoamor got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alba Campoamor kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Marques Vagrande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marques Vagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafo Alacuart having to interfere. Leon Quintanilla charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Quintanilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
