Amancio Guerrero's late challenge caught a O Picato AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of O Picato AD booed when Molino Blanco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niva Sainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macario Uria in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Molino Blanco FC's Amancio Guerrero got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Macario Uria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niva Sainz. Molino Blanco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macario Uria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Molino Blanco FC's Niva Sainz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macario Uria in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Isidro De Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, O Picato AD's Vladimiro Gómez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Molino Blanco FC's Isidro De Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Marques Vagrande elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marques Vagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Macho's late challenge caught a O Picato AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Macho helped the player get up and apologised. Marques Vagrande took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niva Sainz. Niva Sainz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ventura Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ventura Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the match, O Picato AD's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro De Toro came free, but Blas Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isidro De Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marques Vagrande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Macario Uria hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Blas Unzueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Toro in the 56th minute of the match. Eli Aranzubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Blas Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Unzueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eli Aranzubia's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Macario Uria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niva Sainz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marques Vagrande in the 68th minute of play forced Molino Blanco FC's goalkeeper Niva Sainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the O Picato AD defense, Eli Aranzubia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Unzueta. The O Picato AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Unzueta should have stopped the shot. Marques Vagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niva Sainz having to interfere. Macario Uria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Niva Sainz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niva Sainz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marques Vagrande in the 93rd minute of the match. If Eli Aranzubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
