Las Balanzas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bernia UD the free kick. A collision led to Las Balanzas getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Xerardo Reyes hit a great ball. With a little luck, Las Balanzas's Domingo De Toro got control of the ball when Ander Palomar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Las Balanzas's zone, Ander Palomar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo De Toro came out of the goal and Ander Palomar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nesto Munoz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Las Balanzas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nesto Munoz couldn't finish the play. Ander Palomar scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo De Toro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tino Maroto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Ibon Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Balanzas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ibon Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andoni Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nesto Munoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ander Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Las Balanzas's goal looked a bit too open when Ander Palomar came free, but Domingo De Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesto Munoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Bernia UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Segarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Bernia UD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ibon Martínez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute Ander Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ibon Martínez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Ibar De Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute, Andoni Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes of play Las Balanzas's Xerardo Reyes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bernia UD booed when Las Balanzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredo Rivas charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredo Rivas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Las Balanzas booed when Bernia UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredo Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ander Palomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Las Balanzas's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Pena came free, but Domingo De Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
