An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauren Puig in the 7th minute of play forced El Neveral AFC's goalkeeper Jose-Juan Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Lauren Puig took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jose-Juan Jaen to make any attempt to save it. After 14 played minutes Izartza got a freekick which was hit by Turi Echeto. Lauren Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cugat Ruiz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. El Neveral AFC's Jose-Juan Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauren Puig in the 32nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Nabucodonosor Vadillos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Neveral AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marcelino Losada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Antonio Llorente in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nabucodonosor Vadillos made a kick off. Lauren Puig struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jose-Juan Jaen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izartza. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Casildo Losantos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izartza's supporters rose to their feet, but Casildo Losantos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose-Juan Jaen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, El Neveral AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernando Martínez to maneuver through the defense. Jose-Juan Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casildo Losantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Marcelino Losada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabucodonosor Vadillos in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nabucodonosor Vadillos managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Neveral AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nabucodonosor Vadillos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Losada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Losada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis-Antonio Llorente in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, El Neveral AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Casildo Losantos came free, but Jose-Juan Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izartza's Casildo Losantos got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes El Neveral AFC got a freekick which was hit by Midas Santiago. If Casildo Losantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernando Martínez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Lauren Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose-Juan Jaen. El Neveral AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauren Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Izartza fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Neveral AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
