The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epicuro Llinares hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Mas Oliva AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epicuro Llinares to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Castelló De Farfanya's Enrique Olano tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Fructuoso Soto came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mas Oliva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fructuoso Soto couldn't finish the play. Fructuoso Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyo Noya having to interfere. The supporters of Mas Oliva AFC booed when Castelló De Farfanya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indar Lagunas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mas Oliva AFC's goalkeeper Vermudo Zapater, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Castelló De Farfanya booed when Mas Oliva AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernal Fuster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, Castelló De Farfanya's Enrique Olano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vermudo Zapater came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castelló De Farfanya reached it. When Fructuoso Soto came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mas Oliva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fructuoso Soto couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Mas Oliva AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cugat Alavedra. After a rather tough play, Mas Oliva AFC's Diego Laredo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Fructuoso Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mas Oliva AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fructuoso Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cortez Estrada fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mas Oliva AFC's protests and gave Cortez Estrada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute of the match Uzuri Aranzubia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vermudo Zapater showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Mas Oliva AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castelló De Farfanya were winning 0-1.

In the 55th minute, Leonel Odín fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fructuoso Soto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nahia Zabalo got in the 69th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vermudo Zapater handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 72 minutes in the game, Leonel Odín fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vermudo Zapater having to interfere. Mas Oliva AFC's Vermudo Zapater proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Mas Oliva AFC from getting a goal against them. Leonel Odín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernal Fuster in the 80th minute of play forced Castelló De Farfanya's goalkeeper Peyo Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mas Oliva AFC's Fructuoso Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mas Oliva AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Nahia Zabalo scored to the left of an out of position Vermudo Zapater, making the score, 0-2. With a little luck, Mas Oliva AFC's Vermudo Zapater got control of the ball when Indar Lagunas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fructuoso Soto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peyo Noya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Bernal Fuster might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peyo Noya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernal Fuster ran back to his position shaking his head. Fructuoso Soto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Peyo Noya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mas Oliva AFC. If Nahia Zabalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the game, one of Mas Oliva AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Castelló De Farfanya's Enrique Olano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vermudo Zapater. The Castelló De Farfanya players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
