The referee ignored Santa Susanna FC's protests and gave Desiderio Velazquez a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Velazquez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Xurde Sobera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Peña skillfully saved the ball. Eskuin Bouzas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Xurde Sobera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Desiderio Velazquez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Santa Susanna FC's Cecilio Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amuruza Fabelo in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Amuruza Fabelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albujón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Albujón were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Parra was the one to do the kick off. If Flavio Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomi Cerreri came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Susanna FC's Flavio Moreira. But to his dismay, Flavio Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cecilio Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Zapico in the 61st minute of play. Albujón's Tomi Cerreri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Moreira in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Albujón's zone, Flavio Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomi Cerreri came out of the goal and Flavio Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomi Cerreri having to interfere. Cecilio Peña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amuruza Fabelo in the 68th minute. Tomi Cerreri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Zapico in the 77th minute of play. If Ladislao Guasch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santa Susanna FC's Luis Parra got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlitos Urbina during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlitos Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
