Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Saladavieja's goal looked a bit too open when Pepito Dulce came free, but Zabulón Cienfuegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zabulón Cienfuegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepito Dulce in the 60th minute of the match. Saladavieja's Gaston Goyanes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalimar Del Caudillo FC's zone, Gaston Goyanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telo Campomanes came out of the goal and Gaston Goyanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quinito Zubiaga's late challenge caught a Guadalimar Del Caudillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quinito Zubiaga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saladavieja getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Quinito Zubiaga hit a great ball. Bertran Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Dario Jimenez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telo Campomanes skillfully saved the ball. Nazario Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telo Campomanes having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guadalimar Del Caudillo FC's goalkeeper Telo Campomanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nazario Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladavieja's supporters rose to their feet, but Nazario Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telo Campomanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
