Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donzel Baeza kicked off to start the match. Batista Campoamor scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francis Sacristán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Javier Bargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apoena Jorquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donzel Baeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batista Campoamor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Ranolfo Maroto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Batista Campoamor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Atalaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batista Campoamor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donzel Baeza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Nueva Atalaya's goal looked a bit too open when Donzel Baeza came free, but Apoena Jorquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francis Sacristán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batista Campoamor in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Javier Bargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apoena Jorquera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Urdaneta CF's Francis Sacristán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Urdaneta CF from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Xilo Delgado made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Batista Campoamor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Urdaneta CF's Francis Sacristán. Francis Sacristán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Urdaneta CF's Frodo Zubiaga got a free kick in the 56th minute. Francis Sacristán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xilo Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natanael Justo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Francis Sacristán came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Atalaya's Xilo Delgado. But to his dismay, Xilo Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Apoena Jorquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donzel Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute Donzel Baeza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apoena Jorquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francis Sacristán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xilo Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Bargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Min Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Donzel Baeza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apoena Jorquera was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Urdaneta CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nueva Atalaya.
