Seve Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudelio Astudillo in the 19th minute of play. Seve Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudelio Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Ion Nieto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seve Duarte. Doña Blanca AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Nieto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hanni Jorquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tebaldo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Doña Blanca AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Juan Barba hit a great ball. Baudelio Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Seve Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariniz. After a rather tough play, Doña Blanca AFC's Bonifacio Canturri got a free kick in the 34th minute. Seve Duarte was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from José Roca. If Baudelio Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marino Segura hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ion Nieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seve Duarte having to interfere. Seve Duarte had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Baudelio Astudillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 47 minutes into the game, Ariniz's Baudelio Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seve Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baudelio Astudillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baudelio Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ion Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Nieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Doña Blanca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adulfo Ruiz. The audience held their breath when José Roca in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Seve Duarte's left hand side. When the referee ended the match the Ariniz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
