Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baudelio Astudillo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Monte Alcedo booed when Ariniz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Monte Alcedo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eligio Abrego hit a great ball. Donato Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baudelio Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 10 minutes, Bruno De la Torre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Alcedo and the Ariniz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monte Alcedo! José Roca shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Geronimo Rua's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hanni Jorquera firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Rua got free with Hanni Jorquera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Nieto in the 19th minute of play forced Monte Alcedo's goalkeeper Donato Ocaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Ferran Sarrate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ritchie Elguero in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hanni Jorquera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Baudelio Astudillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Monte Alcedo's Donato Ocaña. Donato Ocaña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ritchie Elguero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Alcedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ritchie Elguero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hanni Jorquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Rosalio Talavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Ocaña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ion Nieto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ritchie Elguero made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Geronimo Rua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Alcedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Rua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Ritchie Elguero made a precise shot to the right of Hanni Jorquera. Ariniz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ion Nieto struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Donato Ocaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariniz. When Baudelio Astudillo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ariniz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baudelio Astudillo couldn't finish the play. Hanni Jorquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Elguero in the 74th minute of play. Donato Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baudelio Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Delmar Zurica kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Donato Ocaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudelio Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hanni Jorquera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Rua's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Ariniz's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Rua came free, but Hanni Jorquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Roca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donato Ocaña. Monte Alcedo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ariniz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
