Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gergori Fuente took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lano Amer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adán Hevia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lano Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Figueres FC got a freekick which was hit by Diagur Garrido. Isidoro Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eladio Pantoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, Medina Azahara's goal looked a bit too open when Eladio Pantoja came free, but Frederick Vila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gergori Fuente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adán Hevia made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Lano Amer sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Figueres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lano Amer came free, but Adán Hevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Lano Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medina Azahara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lano Amer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Medina Azahara's Frederick Vila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergori Fuente in the 35th minute of play. Eladio Pantoja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederick Vila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Frederick Vila made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Eladio Pantoja sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gergori Fuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Figueres FC's zone, Lano Amer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adán Hevia came out of the goal and Lano Amer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adán Hevia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Sacristán went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gergori Fuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Vila having to interfere. Adán Hevia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crescencio Campomanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Medina Azahara's Isidoro Pedraza got a free kick in the 87th minute. Isidoro Pedraza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Frederick Vila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gergori Fuente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 97th playminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Figueres FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
