Anxel Serra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneas Muelas in the 5th minute of play. Aniol Campello kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Sant Joan Despí FC got a freekick which was hit by Ostadar Vilanova. Oscar Montiel struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aiert Nafría didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gamarra Nagusia FC. 10 minutes into the match, Sant Joan Despí FC's goalkeeper Aiert Nafría had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meder De Paula. If Eneas Muelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Oscar Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aiert Nafría saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sant Joan Despí FC defense, Oscar Montiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aiert Nafría. The Sant Joan Despí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aiert Nafría should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Sirvent in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anxel Serra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meder De Paula might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aiert Nafría. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meder De Paula ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sant Joan Despí FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ostadar Vilanova hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sant Joan Despí FC's Víctor Beloki got a free kick in the 37th minute. Aiert Nafría showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Montiel in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Montiel in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aiert Nafría prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meder De Paula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Aiert Nafría made a huge save.

52 minutes into the match, Sant Joan Despí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Montiel came free, but Aiert Nafría reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match Gamarra Nagusia FC got a corner. Sant Joan Despí FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timo Mezquita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eneas Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anxel Serra having to interfere. Sant Joan Despí FC's Aiert Nafría played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Montiel in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Arnaitz Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sant Joan Despí FC and the Gamarra Nagusia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viviano Sainz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Aiert Nafría tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Montiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Oscar Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aiert Nafría saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Joan Despí FC's zone, Meder De Paula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aiert Nafría came out of the goal and Meder De Paula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aiert Nafría took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Montiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eneas Muelas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Sant Joan Despí FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonides Sirvent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Anxel Serra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eneas Muelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gamarra Nagusia FC had won after a very even match.
