Andoni Ribas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anartz Crespo might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlo Villar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anartz Crespo ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the game, Leal Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Xuoco Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leal Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xuoco Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Girón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Villar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anartz Crespo in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Leal Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frechoso Menendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlo Villar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marines's zone, Anartz Crespo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Villar came out of the goal and Anartz Crespo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anartz Crespo was the one to do the kick off. Andoni Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xuoco Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andoni Ribas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anartz Crespo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Girón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anartz Crespo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Leal Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marines's supporters rose to their feet, but Leal Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xuoco Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes of play, Marines's Andoni Ribas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xuoco Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlo Villar made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Frechoso Menendez sent off a good shot on target. Xuoco Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Ribas in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Isaio Gasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Cai Doblas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiz Acedo during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
