Leroy Obis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enol Zárate got free with Adán Ferrer in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Leroy Obis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adán Ferrer was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Segur De Calafell AFC's Adolfo Valdivia got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Bartolo Abellan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Segur De Calafell AFC's Adán Ferrer didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Can Sant Joan AFC's Honorato Sobrado got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Segur De Calafell AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Brun Galego hit a great ball. Segur De Calafell AFC's Adán Ferrer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Segur De Calafell AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 26thth minute of the game Leroy Obis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segur De Calafell AFC's Adán Ferrer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Can Sant Joan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edilberto Babia to maneuver through the defense. Segur De Calafell AFC's Belo Belalcaraz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Can Sant Joan AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldán Esperta in the 37th minute of play forced Can Sant Joan AFC's goalkeeper Remir Urbieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Segur De Calafell AFC's Adán Ferrer got control of the ball when Enol Zárate tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute Leroy Obis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adán Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Can Sant Joan AFC's Leroy Obis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adán Ferrer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brun Galego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remir Urbieta having to interfere. When Bonifacio Palencia fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segur De Calafell AFC's protests and gave Bonifacio Palencia a yellow card for diving instead. Bonifacio Palencia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
