Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karmel Clemente hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Marques Erosa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 15th match minute, Posadas Ricas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martino Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Posadas Ricas's Marco Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Zapata in the 17th minute of play. Leopoldo Campello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Mayol. Balaguer FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Doroteo Gabas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Thomas Mayol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Posadas Ricas got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Campello. After having played for 27 minutes, Roberto Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balaguer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Zapata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doroteo Gabas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Thomas Mayol made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Roberto Zapata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Alfaro was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Paul Unzueta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Posadas Ricas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 45th minute, Leopoldo Campello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Roberto Zapata made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Mayol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doroteo Gabas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mayol having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Doroteo Gabas made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Mayol. Balaguer FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marco Alfaro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gaztea Coya. Roberto Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
