Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Loren Mendez kicked off to start the match. Benito Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doroteo Gabas in the 6th minute of play. Benito Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Unzueta in the 7th minute of the match. Marco Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Ramis in the 8th minute of play. Loren Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Ramis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Alfaro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Espinosa during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Posadas Ricas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. When Loren Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerto De La Torre's protests and gave Loren Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Posadas Ricas booed when Puerto De La Torre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loren Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loren Mendez in the 26th minute of play. Benito Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Unzueta in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arotza Adán during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Puerto De La Torre got a freekick which was hit by Arotza Adán. Doroteo Gabas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Posadas Ricas's Marco Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ramis in the 40th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Puerto De La Torre got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Saboya. 47 minutes into the match, Puerto De La Torre's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Unzueta came free, but Benito Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Unzueta made a kick off. In the 54th minute Posadas Ricas were awarded a corner. Marques Erosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Marco Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loren Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Vera made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Doroteo Gabas sent off a good shot on target. Loren Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marco Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Unzueta might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Unzueta ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marciano Abascal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puerto De La Torre's goalkeeper Benito Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loren Mendez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Alfaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leopoldo Campello fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Posadas Ricas's protests and gave Leopoldo Campello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Puerto De La Torre booed when Posadas Ricas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
