Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paul Unzueta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, San Julián FC's Nono Gonzáles made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Alfaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leopoldo Campello fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Posadas Ricas's protests and gave Leopoldo Campello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Julián FC booed when Posadas Ricas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Campello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Posadas Ricas's Martino Fernandez got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Paul Unzueta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Julián FC's Sotil Santalla. Sotil Santalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paul Unzueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sotil Santalla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Julián FC's zone, Paul Unzueta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotil Santalla came out of the goal and Paul Unzueta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doroteo Gabas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Marcilla in the 26th minute of the match. Sotil Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Posadas Ricas's Doroteo Gabas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doroteo Gabas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sotil Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nono Gonzáles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Leopoldo Campello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nono Gonzáles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nono Gonzáles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marco Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Nono Gonzáles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Alfaro. Nono Gonzáles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Marcilla was the one to do the kick off. Doroteo Gabas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Sotil Santalla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Paul Unzueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Norino Bastida fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Julián FC's protests and gave Norino Bastida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Norino Bastida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doroteo Gabas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sotil Santalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Unzueta in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Nono Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Julián FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nono Gonzáles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Unzueta struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sotil Santalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Posadas Ricas. 72 minutes into the game, one of San Julián FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute, Paul Unzueta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Unzueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotil Santalla having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Clemente Novo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Marcilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Marco Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nono Gonzáles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute.
