The attack was good, but when Victoriano Valcarcel in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. John Briso hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Puerto Alto's Pascual Sarrate shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adán Teresa but with some difficulty. Roberto Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Roberto Martínez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Galeno Abasalo was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Galeno Abasalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Roberto Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Abasalo having to interfere. Iker Camarasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Camarasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Galeno Abasalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Adán Teresa made a huge save. Roberto Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Puerto Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Camarasa came free, but Galeno Abasalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Puerto Alto's Adán Teresa threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victoriano Valcarcel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Puerto Alto's Victoriano Valcarcel in the 45th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adán Teresa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Silla through an amazing save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Romualdo Gómez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Santi Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Adán Teresa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Valcarcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silla's Roberto Martínez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Camarasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galeno Abasalo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Silla's Roberto Martínez. But to his dismay, Roberto Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Santi Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silla's protests and gave Santi Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. Santi Rivas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Silla got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Castelao. Victoriano Valcarcel struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Adán Teresa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puerto Alto. When Victoriano Valcarcel came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Puerto Alto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Valcarcel couldn't finish the play. Galeno Abasalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Camarasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Puerto Alto booed when Silla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Briso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puerto Alto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascual Sarrate in the 95th minute. After taking down the ball on Puerto Alto's corner Pascual Sarrate fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adán Teresa quite easily take care of the ball. The Silla players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
