The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sindo Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sindo Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sindo Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Santa María De Montmagastrell AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Orozco came free, but Zeledon Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Bencoiechea having to interfere. In the 13th minute Galeno Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Bencoiechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justin Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Bencoiechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Justin Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Bosquet's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Bencoiechea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Bencoiechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galeno Gonzalez in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Bouzon in the 27th minute of play forced El Bosquet's goalkeeper Alanzo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes El Bosquet got a freekick which was hit by Arbas Bermudez. Alanzo Paredes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Curcio Bouzon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Galeno Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Bencoiechea having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Galeno Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Bosquet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galeno Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeledon Bencoiechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Orozco in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Sindo Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curcio Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antero Silva scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alanzo Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Bouzon in the 60th minute of play forced El Bosquet's goalkeeper Alanzo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galeno Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zeledon Bencoiechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antero Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alanzo Paredes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Bosquet's Arbas Bermudez got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zeledon Bencoiechea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Galeno Gonzalez went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Antero Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alanzo Paredes. El Bosquet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antero Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Jose-Luis Merino's late challenge caught a El Bosquet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose-Luis Merino helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santa María De Montmagastrell AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Bosquet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
