Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hermelando Lastras started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vermudo Higuera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gorka Climent having to interfere. The Sant Pol De Mar fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Sant Pol De Mar's Hermelando Lastras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gorka Climent made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Vermudo Higuera sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Zelipe Batuecas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vermudo Higuera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Unai Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peio De Pedro in the 28th minute of play. If Marino Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isla De Canela AFC's Gorka Climent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Isla De Canela AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Peio De Pedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unai Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marino Checa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Unai Diaz having to make a save. Unai Diaz came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Isla De Canela AFC's Marino Checa. But to his dismay, Marino Checa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Peio De Pedro made the kick off in the second half. Marino Checa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Unai Diaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Sant Pol De Mar's Unai Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio De Pedro in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Quentin Babia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isla De Canela AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sant Pol De Mar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Isla De Canela AFC's Quentin Babia got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Isla De Canela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermelando Lastras came free, but Gorka Climent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sant Pol De Mar's Hermelando Lastras in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Isla De Canela AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Hermelando Lastras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gorka Climent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gorka Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Lastras in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Peio De Pedro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Unai Diaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Sant Pol De Mar's Unai Diaz got control of the ball when Marino Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes of play Sant Pol De Mar's Argi Carballido was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Argi Carballido kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The long shot by Manolito Rosario in the 84th minute really tested Unai Diaz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Vermudo Higuera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vermudo Higuera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sant Pol De Mar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Isla De Canela AFC for a fine match.
