In the 8thth minute of the game Hitzeder Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aztegieta's Jaime Casas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Camino in the 17th minute of the match. When Gorri Blazquez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Aztegieta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorri Blazquez couldn't finish the play. Danilo Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Camino in the 20th minute of the match. Hitzeder Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jaime Casas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Santiago Rua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Casas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jaime Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitzeder Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jaime Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitzeder Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hitzeder Amer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gorri Blazquezs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Danilo Nueva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aztegieta's Gorri Blazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitzeder Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Medina Azahara's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Camino came free, but Danilo Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Medina Azahara's Joaquin Camarasa got a free kick in the 84th minute. Medina Azahara's Iamín Sierra got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
