The audience thought a goal was coming when Giro Rivera got free with Argider Negro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee ignored Barrina's protests and gave Serafín Zapater a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 minutes of play, Aldaia's Xosepin Tormes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Argider Negro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Argider Negro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldaia.
