The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtun Soler in the 11th minute of play forced Castillejo's goalkeeper Xaime Sainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rami Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Xaime Sainz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Urtun Soler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xaime Sainz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After having played for 20 minutes, Alvito Tarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rami Alcantara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Xaime Sainz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ximen Dobale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Demario Blazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Urtun Soler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xaime Sainz, 1-2. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Urtun Soler put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Xaime Sainz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 59th minute Urtun Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Sainz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaime Sainz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rami Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Rami Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rami Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaime Sainz having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Castillejo's Alvito Tarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demario Blazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sant Genís De Palafolls FC's Demario Blazquez got control of the ball when Ximen Dobale tried to sneak it across the goal line.
