Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeruko Cuadrado started the match with the kick off. Diego Nieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Comas having to interfere. When Zeruko Cuadrado came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Margarita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeruko Cuadrado couldn't finish the play. If Monte Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Bacete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monte Correa in the 21st minute of play. Patxi Landa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Oso Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Diego Nieto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Monte Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Bacete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monte Correa in the 37th minute of the match. If Monte Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patxi Landa to make the kick off. Oso Comas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Nieto in the 52nd minute of the match. Gartzea Vicente hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Benjamin Bacete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeruko Cuadrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oso Comas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Nieto went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Barrina AFC's zone, Monte Correa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Bacete came out of the goal and Monte Correa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Sarracino Ibanez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Bacete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeruko Cuadrado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Zeruko Cuadrado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Bacete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xosepe Marines kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alvino Cabezas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Bacete came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvino Cabezas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 87th minute. Diego Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Margarita AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
