Osmundo Cienfuegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Landa in the 27th minute of play. Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's Osmundo Cienfuegos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Nieto in the 28th minute of play. Guillermo Litago hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Diego Nieto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrina AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Barrina AFC's Diego Nieto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osmundo Cienfuegos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Nieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Barrina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mel Pastor. Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinaldo Alonso in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Osmundo Cienfuegos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Nieto in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's Pablo Elguero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Bacete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Karmel Morado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Osmundo Cienfuegos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Nieto in the 65th minute. Patxi Landa might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmundo Cienfuegos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patxi Landa ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Bacete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karmel Morado in the 72nd minute of the match. Cristian Marrero's late challenge caught a Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Marrero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barrina AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patxi Landa hit a great ball. If Pablo Elguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88thth minute of the game Patxi Landa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's Osmundo Cienfuegos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Guillermo Litago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrina AFC the free kick. The supporters of Barrina AFC booed when Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Litago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mel Pastor was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrina AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Barrina AFC's corner Mel Pastor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Osmundo Cienfuegos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute Patxi Landa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmundo Cienfuegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Domingo Bencoiechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patxi Landa spun around in front of the goal 99 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Osmundo Cienfuegos grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Pozuelo De Alarcón AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
