Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's Telo Santalla got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Karmel Morado in the 10th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Iraitz Quevedo's left hand side. 15 minutes into the match, Guadalupe's goalkeeper Angelo Mendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeruko Beloki. Misael Durango hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Telo Santalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC defense, Enrique Darroja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iraitz Quevedo. The Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iraitz Quevedo should have stopped the shot. Silverio Segarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Darroja charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Darroja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guadalupe getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Enrique Darroja hit a great ball. After the first half Guadalupe were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telo Santalla was the one to do the kick off. Iraitz Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierres Castaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telo Santalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Angelo Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telo Santalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's zone, Enrique Darroja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iraitz Quevedo came out of the goal and Enrique Darroja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Telo Santalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Mendez was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Tato Camaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Angelo Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Darroja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Quevedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Darroja in the 90th minute of play forced Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's goalkeeper Iraitz Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeruko Beloki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Mendez having to interfere.
