Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cleto Macías made the kick off which started today's match. Lano Litago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baleren Mas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mancio Higuera during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Hostalric's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Macías came free, but Lano Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baleren Mas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lano Litago having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Nicolás FC's goalkeeper Eligio Alarcon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 played minutes San Nicolás FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Cano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Zurica in the 33rd minute of play forced San Nicolás FC's goalkeeper Eligio Alarcon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hostalric's Mancio Higuera got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mancio Higuera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Baleren Mas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lano Litago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Macías, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, one of Hostalric:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hostalric. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for San Nicolás FC. Boni Maroto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lano Litago. 2-0. Lano Litago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baleren Mas in the 69th minute of play. After 74 played minutes, San Nicolás FC's Boni Maroto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lano Litago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Nicolás FC reached it. The supporters of San Nicolás FC booed when Hostalric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Leyva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Macías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lano Litago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lano Litago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Macías in the 100th minute of play. San Nicolás FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
